Mr. Jason Leon Calloway, age 30, of Scottsboro, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Jason was a loving husband, father, brother, son, and friend.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Swindall and the Honarable Judge Ralph H. Grider officiating. Interment will follow at Gipson Cemetery in New Hope, Alabama. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
He leaves behind his wife, Megan Calloway; daughters, Kasidy Ann Denise Calloway, Kennedy Gail Marie Calloway, Gracelynn Elizabeth Calloway, and Rayleigh Brook Calloway; sister, Glenda (Blake) Johnson; brother, Christopher (Sabrina) Calloway; foster parents, Ronnie (Sheila) Loudermilk and Jerry (Sherry) Swindall; foster sisters, Wendy (Bryan) Dulaney and Dawn Swindall; foster brothers, Greg Swindall and David Swindall; niece, Aubrie Johnson; nephews, Wyatt Victor, arriving soon Waylon Calloway, and Logan Dulaney; Mother in Law, Loretta Bridges; Father in Law, Keith (Vonda) Lipscomb; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his father in law, Ellis Bridges.
