Jason Allen Thompson, age 47, of Wartrace, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Winchester, Tennessee, on January 21, 1978, to George and Charlotte (Kline) Thompson. He had a passion for die-cast cars and trucks, which brought joy to all who knew him. His love for Star Wars was matched only by his caring, loving nature and his infectious sense of humor, which brightened every room. A kind soul who inspired many with his enthusiasm and warmth. He will be deeply missed by family and friends who cherished his laughter, compassion, and unwavering kindness. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Thompson and Ricky Thompson. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Katherine Thompson; parents, George and Charlotte Thompson; siblings, George Thompson, Jr., Laura (Don) Warren, Becky (Alvin) Hoselton; nieces and nephews, Shaun Thompson, Angela Hoselton, Alvin Hoselton, Jr., Tyler (Misty) Warren, Kristen Thompson, Ashely Thompson, Bryan Thompson, and Lucas Thompson; many great nieces, nephews, and extended family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Watson Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral services will immediately follow in the Roy B.
