Jared Ogan Hammons

Jared Ogan Hammons passed away August 8, 2022 at the age of 52. Jared graduated from Buckhorn High School in 1987 and attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville before beginning a lifelong career in the construction industry as a talented craftsman. He was project superintendent for many construction companies in Alabama. In 1998, he was awarded and recognized in Montgomery as Builder of the Year by Lowder New Homes. In recent years, he worked with Casa Renovations, Compass Homes, and started FlynKor Home Restore. From his Papaw, he acquired an affinity for Tennessee and the outdoors at a young age. Jared loved nature and had a deep appreciation for the simple things in life. His favorite pastime was spending time with his sons, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Hattie Rosemary Hammons. Survivors include his pride and joy, three sons, Kinsley Ogan Hammons, Kortlan Oliver Hammons, and Mason Olds Hammons; father: Charles (Pati) Hammons; siblings: Anne Tulbert, Brandie (Jason) Lyon, Steve Hammons, Adam Hammons, Aaron (Mandy) Hammons, Elisabeth (Michael) Richardson, and Sara Phillips; many, many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will take place Saturday, August 13th, 2022 at 2:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1804 Sparkman Drive, Huntsville, Alabama, 35816. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Downtown Rescue Mission of Huntsville.
