Funeral service for Jannie Manlie Letson Hale, 83, of Hillsboro, will be Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Godbee and Bro. Wendell Bennett officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Garden.

Mrs. Hale, who died Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, was born December 5, 1929, in Lawrence County. She was a member of Mt. Home Baptist Church. She worked as a Seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bro. B. L. (Junior) Hale; her parents, Thomas and Dessie Terry Letson; one brother and two sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Tommy Hale (Vickie) and Bobby Keith Hale (Glenda); one daughter, Beverly Burks (James); three grandchildren, Brian Burks, Delia Hale and Katie Brooke Hale; three great-greatchildren, Riley Burks, Taryn Burks and Emily Burks; two brothers, Glyn Letson and Carlyn Letson (Willodean) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Terry, Kim Hensley, Marlon Cottingham, Ricky Johnson, Ricky Thomas and Ronald Thrasher.
