Mrs. Janie Daniel, age 76, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years David “Fur Pod” Daniel; brothers, Bruce (Kathy) Swaim of Picayune, MS., Wayne Swaim of Pisgah, AL., Steve (Becky) Swaim of Crow Mtn., AL., Milton (Susie) Swaim of Henegar, AL., Byron (Nicole) Swaim of Scottsboro, AL., Dennis (Cindy) Clark of Daytona Beach, FL., David (Debbie) Clark of Daytona Beach, FL., sisters, Linda (Don) Holmes, Poplarville, MS., Beverly Swaim of Picayune, MS., Wendy (Kane) Fowler of Scottsboro, AL., Debbie Riddlebaugh of North Carolina, Denise Hazzard of Ormond Beach, FL.,
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Tara Fay Daniel, parents, Howard Milton Swaim, and Gloria June Clark; sisters, Sheila Johnson, Mary Dolberry, and Pattie Sue Swaim, brother, Danny Clark.
Visitation for Mrs. Daniel will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, beginning at 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 17th, 2025 at the funeral home with Dr. Gary Speers officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro.
