Janie Blair Spearman, 84, of Meridianville passed away Friday at her residence. Janie was a native and lifelong resident of Madison County and a member of Pleasant Springs Baptist Church. She retired from the Huntsville City School Systems and worked part-time as a food demonstrator at Costco for many years. She was preceded in death by her first husband: William Luther Spearman and by her second husband: Todd George. Survivors include her son: William Steven Spearman and wife: Lynette; her daughter: Nona Reed and husband: John; two sisters: Frances Hale and Helen Jacks; one brother: Jerry Blair and two grandchildren: Matthew Spearman and Shayna Kidd. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home with a Chapel service Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Fincher officiating. Burial will follow in Huntsville Memory Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Family Care or Choose Life of North Alabama, Inc.
