Janice Yuvonne Sheffield Webb, 75, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born November 22, 1947, in Itawamba County, to Marshall and Jessie Reynolds Sheffield. She was a homemaker and also worked several years at several factories, including Mantachie Manufacturing. She enjoyed sports, and she played basketball and softball in her earlier years. She also enjoyed working at her brother’s restaurants over the years. She loved being around her family and going to her family gatherings. She always loved going to Mantachie where she was raised. She especially loved her nieces and nephews. She was a Baptist in belief.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Ricky Lesley officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include; one son, William Lowell Webb; two daughters, Marsha Webb Farris and Janet Webb Miller (Brian), all of Fulton; six grandchildren, Alex Farris, Abbie Webb, Will Webb II, Allie Webb, Marshall Glover, and Gavin Glover; Two brothers, Billy Sheffield (Virginia) of Fairview, and Bobby Gene Sheffield of Mantachie; two sisters, Ruby Faye Massey and Frances Bearden (Gary), both of Mantachie.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Lowell Webb; three brothers, Gerald Sheffield, David Sheffield, Danny Sheffield, and an infant brother, Jerry Sheffield; two sisters, Sarah Farrar and Sue Holder; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Dave Sheffield, Bill Sheffield, Scotty Sheffield, Kevin Sheffield, Brad Sheffield, and Doug Farrar.
Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
