Janice Marie Waldrop Wright, 73 of Lynn, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Hendrix Health Care surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Wright was born on February 11, 1941. Janice was a member of Lynn Baptist Church for 15 years. She graduated from Lynn High School, enjoyed playing the piano and painting. Janice was a professional seamstress and worked for Arrow Shirt Factory. She was a great mom, grandmother and caregiver.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 12-2pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 2pm. Brother Mickey Crane will officiate. Burial will follow in Ashbank Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Janice is survived by her sons, Tony (Joyce) Wright, Charles (Michelle) Wright; daughters, Karen (Jimmy) Capps, Vivian (Stuart) Cagle; brothers, R.B. Waldrop, Aaron (Juanita) Waldrop, Robert (Sarah) Waldrop and sister, Ruth Waldrop Farris. She was “MawMaw” to six grandchildren, Craig Capps, Justin Capps, Frankie Wright, Drew Wright, Jason Cagle, Falon Cagle and one great grandchild, Georgia Wright. Janice is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Wright; grandson, Jamie Wright; parents, Reuben and Ora Cofield Waldrop and brother, Russell Waldrop.
