Janice Marie Holt of Giles County, Tennessee passed away Thursday morning, December 26th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Giles County. She was born in Lewisburg, Tennessee on April 14th, 1954 and was 70 years old.
Janice was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and was an active member at Grace Place Church. Janice was an inspiration to anyone that met her. She loved watching movies; especially Madea. Janice loved her family, and grandchildren more than anything. She will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th, 2024 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 28th, 2024 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The burial will be in the New Grove Church Cemetery in Ardmore, Tennessee.
Janice was preceded in death by, her parents, James Morgan and Mary Jane Blankenship Porterfield, brothers, Derrick and Michael Porterfield, grandparents, Andy Ollie B. Blankenship, Grace Elvira Blankenship, grandmother, Annie Mae Pigg Porterfield, mother-in-law, Katie Italyne Holt, sister-in-law, Jeweline Holt, and brother-in-law, HS Holt.
