Janice Marie Borden, age 61, of Moulton, Alabama, passed away on January 24, 2026, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born on June 3, 1964, to Charles and Martha Borden. Janice was known for her deep love of Coca-Cola and the Tasmanian Devil, passions that shaped both her personality and her home. She also loved shopping and had a special talent for finding just the right item at just the right moment. Over the years, she built a large and carefully curated collection of memorabilia, each piece telling a story and holding special meaning. She deeply loved her grandchildren and her family, who brought her immense joy and happiness throughout her life. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and she took pride in sharing her collection and the joy it brought her with everyone around her. A memorial service will be held at a later time. Janice is survived by her daughter, Jasmine (Wade) Knopp; son, Lucas “Luke” (Timber) Bearden; grandchildren, Bray Terry, Abel Terry, Aumni Terry, Jonathan Parris, and Brooklynn Campbell; sister, Angela (Jimmy) Terry; and brother, Charles “Chuck” Borden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Borden and Lorraine Borden (Hurshel LouAllen); her brother, Ronnie Borden; Luke’s father, Dale Bearden; and her grandparents. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Daniell Johnston, the Moulton Fire Department, EMS, and Police Department for their assistance, and to Dr. Sean Grumach, MD, and the nurses of Decatur Morgan Hospital for their compassionate care.
