Janice Ileane Dillard Morrison, 74, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. She was a dedicated family woman who lived life to the fullest, cherishing her time spent with family, friends, and loved ones. Janice found joy in tending to her yard, planting tomatoes, cooking, and enjoying Saturday morning rides. She will be dearly missed.
Janice is survived by her children, Jay Tedford, Misty Tedford, and Pamela Carwile; her grandchildren, Nicole Mills (Chad), Laken Tedford (Jake Edwards), Tyler Tedford, Mackinsey Wheeler (Chance), Haylee Carwile, and Dakota Tedford; and her great-grandchildren, Conner, Sadie, Garrett, Cayden, Lydia, Roper, John Ledger, and Remi. She is also survived by her fiancé, Steve Tutor, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Katherine Walker Dillard, her brothers, Jimmy and Dean Dillard, and her sister, Lourine Stewart.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, with visitation beginning at 12PM and continuing until the service time. Burial will follow in Jernigan Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Chance Wheeler, Jake Edwards, Michael Walls, and Chad Mills.
