Janice Grace Jenkins Ramsey, 69, of Huntsville passed away Monday at her residence. Janice was born in Cumberland, Kentucky and graduated from Ketron High School in Kingsport, TN in 1964. She graduated from Fort Sanders School of Nursing, now Tennessee Wesleyan College, in 1967. Janice was a devoted mother, coworker and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents: Clinton and Allie Jenkins, and by her brotherin-law: David Campbell. Survivors include her two daughters: Melanie Ramsey and Deborah Ramsey; her brother and sister-in-law: Robert and Francis Jenkins; her sister: Joan Campbell; her cousin: Felicia Goodrum; and a number of beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Central Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3001 Whitesburg Drive, Huntsville, AL with Pastor Christopher Barr officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memorial gardens with Berryhill Funeral Home directing. Memorial donations may be made to the Big Cove Christian Academy Scholarship Fund.
