Janice Elaine Miller, 77 of Holly Pond passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at her residence. Janice was born July 9, 1945, in Cullman County the daughter of Ira Earnest Willis and Etta Bell Baird Willis. She was retired from the Cullman County Board of Education after working in the school lunchroom at Joppa, then later at Fairview and Baileyton. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church and married to the late Omer E. “Cotton” Miller, who died December 2, 1989.
She is survived by her daughter: Janet Walker and husband: Bob; grandchildren: Heath Tines (Hannah Silvey), Josh Miller, Colby Miller (Sherry) and Breanna Brown; great grandchildren: Shelby and Carsten; sister: Peggy Hardin; special sister-in-law: Reba Smith; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Cotton Miller, son: Michael Miller, brother: Ed Willis, sisters: Charlotte McWhorter, Willodean Chambers, Valree Bradley and Frances Hipp.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Gober Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in New Home Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
