Funeral service for Janet Sue Eddy, 66, will be Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Williams officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in New Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 15, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Eddy passed away peacefully, with her family at her side, on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at UAB Hospital, Birmingham. She was born April 13, 1950, in Morgan County to James Albert Callahan and Ella Lee Owens Callahan. Janet was a Hartselle High School Cafeteria Worker for 28 years before retiring due to health reasons. Her love of flowers, gardening and yard work could be seen by looking at her beautiful home and yard. Janet loved cooking and providing for her family for they were her life, as was her loving husband, who was by her side every step of the way. She was known as “Nanny” to her grandchildren, that she loved so dearly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

and Shane McCormick, who was like a son to her, and his wife Christyn, Hartselle, AL .
Pallbearers will be Shane McCormick, Austin Wakefield, Daniel Ogle, John Ryan, Dewayne Eddy, and Kevin Brown.
