Janet Shirley Dickey Thomas was born March 7, 1946 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Marshall and Sylvia Lumpkin Dickey.
Mrs. Thomas was a Hairdresser . She was a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Ramer, Tennessee and a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed cooking, being with her family and playing with her grandkids. She was also a member of the Ramer Ruritan Club.
Mrs. Thomas departed this life on April 10, 2016 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 70 Years, 1 Month, 3 Days. She is survived by her husband William R. (Bill) Thomas of Ramer, TN; a daughter, Michelle Krupey and husband Bill of Memphis, TN; a son, Thomas (Toady) Smart of Ramer, TN; three step sons, Ross Thomas and wife Melissa of Hernando, MS, David Thomas and wife Helen of Nashville, TN, and Todd Thomas of Nashville, TN; a step daughter, Wendy Thomas of Southaven, MS; three grandchildren Nick Krupey, Bridget Purviance, and Patrick Krupey; five great grandchildren, Elana, Andria, and O’lora Krupey, and Braydn and Bayleigh Purviance; a sister, Pam Clark of Ramer, TN; and a brother, Douglas Dickey and wife Karen of Cookeville, TN. Several step grandchildren, step great grand children, and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs Thomas was preceded in death by a grandchild, Toady Ross Krupey.
