Janet S. Odom, 75, of Sheffield died Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Glenwood Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Rudolf and Marion Justine Barnes.
She is survived by her sons, Matthew and Jeff Odom; brother, Mike Barnes (Deb); sister, Debra Ann Brewer; several cousins who live out of state.
Mrs. Odom retired from Mississippi State University as an Academic Advisor. She lived in Starkville, Mississippi for 15 years. She rescued and fostered over 200 dogs and cats. She was a graduate of Coffee High School.
