Janet Elaine Long, age 74 of White House passed away Sunday morning, March 1, 2026 at her home. She was born August 9, 1951 in Kingsport, TN to Ernest & Kate Craddock Barrett. She was employed with GMC before her retirement. She enjoyed dancing, traveling and was an avid reader. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports of any kind. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobbie Carter Long; brother, Wayne Barrett. She is survived by her sons, Joshua Aaron (Laura) Porter, Chattanooga, TN and Justin Chad (Christy) Porter, Clayton, NC; daughter, Krystal (Kevin) Catlin, White House, TN; sister, Frankie (JD) Myers, Padre Island, TX; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
