Mrs. Janet Britton Williams departed this life after a short, unexpected illness in
Huntsville AL.
Janet Marie Britton was born to John Wesley and Loretta Shannon Britton in
Natchitoches, LA on August 3, 1947; both of whom preceded her in death.
As an alumnus of Holy Rosary Institute in Lafayette, LA and Northwestern State
University in Natchitoches, Janet contributed to Huntsville’s engineering community for 40 years. She retired to a quiet life with family and requested that there be no ceremony, marker, or memorial.
Janet is survived by sons Gerald Andre Williams and Gregory Bernard Williams of
Huntsville AL; sister Regina Michele Britton of Dallas TX; nephews Antonio Jamall
Britton of Lewisville TX and Adonnis Deijon Britton of Tampa FL; grandnephews Malachi Isaiah, Ezekiel Wesley and Vaughn Lee Britton; grandniece Mya Shannon Britton, and scores of cousins, extended family and friends throughout LA, NY, GA and the US.
