Jane Nuckolls, 64, of Memphis
Ms. Nuckolls passed away Friday evening, September 4, 2015, at her home in Memphis.
She was born in Jackson, TN, the daughter of the late Joseph Franklin and Elloise Frost Nuckolls. She lived most of her life in Shelby County where she was system director of nutrition therapy for Methodist University Hospital for 14 years.
She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and her master’s degree from the University of Mississippi. A member of Christ United Methodist Church, she was also a member of the board of directors for the Mid-South Food Bank.
She enjoyed travelling, painting, art and her church family. She was especially fond of cocker spaniels including “Lady Pippa”, “Skylar” and “Tiger Lila”.
She leaves behind her sister, Judy Lynn Nuckolls of Bolivar and several cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Dr. & Mrs. C. L. Frost; and paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Noah Nuckolls.
