Jane M. Thornton, age 96, of Waterloo, passed away Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at ECM Hospital after a battle with Alzheimer’s.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Dwayne Duffey officiating. Entombment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She was a life-long member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Florence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ottis Thornton; son-in-law, Danny Duncanson; parents and siblings.
Survivors include her children, Gary Thornton (Michelle), Dale Belanger (Patty), Doug Rayment (Kay) and Dolores Duncanson; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Lillian Kurtz.
