Jane Griffin Stapp of Pulaski passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016. She was born in Prospect, Tn. on January 7, 1918 and was 98 years old.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was owner of Stapps Market for many years and a member of First United Methodist Church for over 70 years. She loved her flower garden and playing Rook with the girls.
Visitation will be on Saturday, May 21st from 10:00am until 12:00noon at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
A celebration of life with family and friends will take place on Saturday following visitation at 12:00noon in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Stapp, parents, Ingomar Clark and Lizzie Mae Tidwell Griffin, brothers, Alvin Griffin, Harold Griffin, A. W. Griffin, John Griffin Robert Griffin, Jerry Griffin and I.C. Griffin, sisters, Ruth Johns, Millie Carroll, Frances Robinson, and Helen White.
She is survived by her
Daughter, Patsy Stapp Harrison and husband Gary of Florence, Al.
Grandson, Stapp Harrison and wife Jessica of Florence, Al.
Great-grandchildren, Isabella Harrison and Christopher Chance Harrison of Florence, Al.
Brother, Wendell Griffin of Giles County
Sister, Betty Fox of Giles County
Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
