Jane Gilmore Brown, age 96, of Greenwood Springs, MS in the Sipsey Fork Community, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026 in Bessemer, AL. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 1:00pm at Wesley Chapel Community Church with burial to follow in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Jason Clifton to officiate. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the funeral services from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

Jane was born on October 4, 1930 in Detroit, AL to the late Allen Gilmore and the late Sally Black Gilmore. She was a 1949 graduate of Sulligent High School. Jane enjoyed working outside in her garden and canning all her delicious vegetables. She loved spending time with her family, especially her precious grandchildren and great grands. She was a faithful and beloved member of Wesley Chapel Community Church. Her bright spirit and loving heart will forever be fondly remembered and truly missed by all who loved and knew her.
