Jane Evans Cole, 76, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026. The memorial service will be announced in the coming days.
Jane was a native of Colbert County and a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Sheffield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Martha Evans of Tuscumbia; sister, Lynne Evans Reynolds of Sheffield; and nephew, Michael Reynolds of Tuscumbia.
Jane is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Dennis Cole; sister, Martie Evans Skinner of Tuscumbia; nephew, William Reynolds of Garner, NC; niece, Beth Person and husband, Joe of Charlotte, NC and their children, Lucy Person of New York City, NY, Ellie Person, Hilton Head, SC, and John Person, Charlotte, NC; niece, Erin Springer and husband, Brian and their daughter, Caitlyn Rochelle, all of Tuscumbia; nephew, Evan Skinner of Tuscumbia; other great-nieces and nephews, Austin May, Baylee Reynolds, and Gabby Reynolds, all of Muscle Shoals; mother-in-law, Frances McMillan of Upland, CA; brother-in-law, Jeff Madaus and wife, Barbara of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; and stepson, Darnell Cole and wife, Yvonne of Riverside, CA.
