Jane Ellen Dean age 61 of Athens, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Dean was born January 24, 1955 in Allen County, OH to James Edward Ernest and Vera Struble Ernest.
Memorial visitation will be Thursday, April 21, 2016 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.at Cairo United Methodist Church, with a private family graveside to follow.
Mrs. Dean was a member of Cairo United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and sister and wife.
Preceded in death by her husband, Danny Dean; father, James Ernest; mother, Vera Ernest; brother, Baby Ernest; father-in-law, Mahlon Dean.
Survived by one daughter, Erin Dean and fiancé Scott Vaughn of Anderson, AL; one son, Matt Dean and wife, Seria of Athens; one granddaughter, Emma Vaughn of Anderson; two brothers, Jim Ernest of Decatur and Jeff Ernest and wife, Melinda of Athens; mother-in-law, Barbara Dean of Piney Chapel, AL.
