Janath “Jenny” Westall Hewitt, 77, transformed to the Church Triumphant at the North Miss. Medical Center in Tupelo on Monday, December 9, 2019, after a brief illness. Jenny was a delightful lady who loved her family and was devoted to the tranquility of all humankind. A perfect wife to her husband, Tom, she cherished her children, Andy (deceased), Nita, Ken, and Josh, and was a doting grandmother to her grands and great-grands. Jenny owned a consignment shop named Kidstuf and Mom’s Best for 22 years and was an assistant teacher at Thomas Street School. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 11 AM Thursday, December 12, 2019 from the Sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church, 400 West Jefferson St., Tupelo. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation is from 4 PM – 6PM Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Holland Funeral Directors – Tupelo Chapel, and from 10 AM – service time on Thursday at McFadden Hall at First Presbyterian. Memorials should be made to the Andy Hewitt Helping Hands Foundation.
