Jamie McKeller Porter, 101, of Middleton
Mr. Porter passed away Wednesday morning at Adamsville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

A native of Middleton, he was the son of the late Charles Franklin and Fannie Lou McKeown Porter. Mr. Porter served his country in the US Army during World War II and Korea. He retired from military service after 20 years as a Master Sergeant. From 1960-1982, he worked in civil service at Ft. Benning, GA.

He is survived by two sisters, Margie Burnette of Saulsbury and Zueline Brooks of Pocahontas; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ross Porter; three sisters, Lillian Lanier, Phyllis Hillhouse and Willie Mae Lanier; and two brothers, Cecil and George Porter.
