Mrs. Jamie Louise Griffith age 88 of McMinnville, TN, died Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at her residence. She was born July 13, 1933, in Nashville, TN, formerly worked at the Woodbury Shirt Factory, Genesco Shoe, and retired from Findlay Industries, Inc. Mrs. Griffith was a member of Dayspring Community Church of God and was preceded in death by parents Hershel James and Elizabeth Ogle Cantrell, husband William Isaac David Griffith, son Douglas Wayne Griffith, sister Peggy Slaughter, and a brother Leo Cantrell.
Survivors include her children Michael David (Debra Faye) Griffith, William Glenn Griffith, Gerald Lee Griffith, Gordon Boyd (Janette) Griffith, and Gina Griffith Harding, brother Roy (Buddy) Cantrell, grandchildren Stacy Michael (Bronwen) Griffith, Amiee Dawn Wilder, Amanda (Joshua) Thomas, Ashley (Gabriel) Homan, Joshua Travis Griffith, Aimee Christian Griffith, Jason Lee Griffith, Janette Priscilla (Travis) Lowe, Isaac Lafayette (Jennyfer) Griffith, Kristen Faith (Devin) Harmon, Christopher Matthew Griffith, Hadassah Joy Griffith, Jeremiah Jonathan Griffith, Noah James Griffith, Ahijah Moses Griffith, Jayme Michelle Wiley, and Heather LaNae (Michael Roston) Pack, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 21, 2022, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Rex Boles will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in DeKalb County, TN. The Griffith Family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
