Mr. Jamey Lamare Malone, age 50, of the Joppa community of Cullman County, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at the UAB Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
Mr. Malone was born on July 18, 1972 to David Lamare Malone and Martha Melissa Smith Malone in Marshall County, Alabama. He was a follower of the Methodist Church. Jamey managed and operated a dog kennel where he raised beagles. He was a member of the American Rabbit Hunt Association and participated in the Little Pack Hunt PKC-Division. Jamey excelled in softball, loved Alabama football and spent his leisure time reading.
Mr. Malone is survived by his two sisters; Cindy Malone and Bre Nelson (Danny), his brother; Terry Malone (Wendy), 2 nephews, 2 nieces, and a great nephew.
Mr. Malone was preceded in death by his parents, David Malone and Melissa Kelly.
A funeral service will be held at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Brother Joey Staton will be officiating. The family will received friends for a visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00. Interment will be in the Hopewell Cemetery in Blount County, Alabama.
