James William Taylor, 84, of Maud passed away Friday, February 24, 2016. Visitation will be Monday, February 27th from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Allsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. J.B. Burns and Rev. Don Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

James was born in Allsboro, where he was a truck driver and farmer, and was a member of Allsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Lou Burns Taylor; sons, Bobby Taylor and wife Nita and Danny Taylor and wife Jennifer; sister, Fay Moore; 6 grandchildren, Tyson, Ken, Cheryle Beth, Emma, Tad, and Joey Taylor.

Pallbearers are Bennie Hearn, Sonny Dover, Luther Bishop, Bruce Morgan, Larry Parker, and Greg Allen. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Hardin, Danny Simpson, Tyson, Ken, Tad, and Joey Taylor.
