Image James William Roberts, 69, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, at his home. He was born May 2, 1956, to the late Jeff Roberts and the late Faye Johnson Roberts in Fulton. James was a devoted member of Open Door Worship Center and faithfully served his community and family throughout his life. He worked at Mueller Industries for 28 years before retiring, a career marked by dedication, hard work, and integrity. James had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time outside, as well as shooting his guns and bow. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, creating memories that will be treasured forever. James will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of nature, and his devotion to those he loved.

Funeral services will be private.

He is survived by his wife, Melinda Roberts of Fulton; daughter, Shana Parker of Fulton; sons, Timmy Joe Sharp of SC, and Jason Sharp of Fulton; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren, sisters, Nannette (Ronald) Houston of Fulton; Mary (Philip) Eagle of Tremont; brother, David (Brenda) Roberts of Tremont; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Faye Roberts.
