James William Joyner, 71, resident of Eads, TN passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at his residence.
Funeral Services honoring the life of Mr. Joyner will be at 12 Noon Saturday, October 22, 2022 in the Heritage Chapel of The Ripley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Joyner was born on August 8, 1951 in Memphis, TN, the son of the late Arthur Tom and Joyce Mae Johnson Joyner. He was a graduate of Germantown High School and was employed as a heating and air technician for Bob Cochran over 30 years before retiring.
A Christian and Army Veteran, Mr Joyner believed it was important to enjoy the simple ways of life by fishing, hunting, and trips to the Tennessee River. He will be missed by all those that knew him.
Visitation will be from 11AM until 12 Noon Saturday, October 22, 2022 at The Ripley Funeral Home.
Survivors include one son Mario Joyner (Kendra Cox) of Millington, one sister, Phyllis Grady (Bubba) and two grandchildren, Bailey and Madison Joyner.
He is also preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Diane Purser Joyner, a sister, Flora Webster and a brother, Richard Joyner.
