James William Hayes, 83, of Florence, AL passed away Monday, January 16, 2017. Visitation will be Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by parents, Joe and Arrenia Hayes; wife, Gwendolyn Irene Hayes; brothers, J.L. Hayes and David Willard Hayes; sister, Ruth Collier.
Survivors are daughters, Gwendolyn Diane Hayes, fiancé (Michael Netherton, Sr.), and Bridget Lynn Hayes; and nieces and nephews.
