James Wilder Chandler III, 67, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Chandler; by his father, James Wilder Chandler Jr., and by his step-mother, Margaret Chandler.
He is survived by his two sisters, Becky Weeks and Sherry Mahon (David); By his step-brother, Nathan Higgins (Martha); By his step-sister, Rita Mitchell (Steve); By his nieces and nephews: Lucretia Smith (Gregg), Daniel Mahon (Madeline), Jeremy Mahon, Joshua Mahon (Jessie), Mary Vaughn (Marty), and Caleb Mahon. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 10 until 11am at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11am at the funeral home with Steve Mitchell officiating. Burial will then follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be David Mahon, Daniel Mahon, Jeremy Mahon, Joshua Mahon, Marty Vaughn, and Gregg Smith. Jimmy Battles will be an honorary pallbearer.
