James Walter Lee “Jimbo” Riggs, Jr., age 49, of Florence, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025.
He is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Riggs; parents, Jimmy Riggs, Jr. and Judy Clemmons, ; Alex Kiestler (Nick), Tabitha Riggs, Hannah Riggs (Trevor), Brandon Riggs (Makayla), Destiny Riggs (Jamie), Kristena Riggs (Austin), , Johnathan Sheilds; siblings, Deborah Hamm; Morris Clemmons, Doris Clemmons, Cornelia Carter, and Jimmy Riggs; grandchildren, Koby Vinson, Haven Vinson, Savannah Vinson, Nevaeh Riggs, Bailey Riggs, Kaden Montgomery, Louis Montgomery, Hagen Johnson, Jasper Heflin, Mason Kiestler, Aiden Kiestler, and Abigail Kiestler, and mother of 4 of his children, Rebecca Atkinson.
Jimbo loved hunting, fishing, camping, playing with his grandkids, singing, playing guitar, tinkering with every thang, mechanic, archery, race cars, plumbing, construction, and helping others.
He was an amazing father, husband and friend. A pawpaw, friend and dad to all. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
