James Wallace Hunt, Jr., 70, passed away on May 20, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. He was born on June 10, 1954 in Greenwood, MS to the late James Wallace Hunt, Sr. and Darwin Scarbrough Hunt.
James was retired owner of Hunt Properties and former dispatcher for the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Day Hunt; daughter, Elizabeth Marie Hunt Hughes (David); son, James Wallace Hunt, III (Jamie); and grandson, Anderson James Hunt.
There will be a graveside service in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
