James Verbon Drummond, 78, of Cullman, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, at an assisted living facility in Hanceville.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, from 1-2 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor, with funeral services set for 2 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Cemetery in Bremen.
Mr. Drummond was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Drummond; mother, Gladys Marie Stewart Drummond; son, Neal Drummond; brother, Larry Drummond; and sister, Judy Vines.
He is survived by his wife, Rethel Marie Drummond; daughter, Sandy Hinds (David); sister, Debbie Drummond; brothers, J.D. Drummond and Delmer Drummond; grandchildren, Jason Drummond, Erica Corbin, Macy Hinds, Hanson Hinds, and Hadley Hinds; great-grandchildren, X-Avier Corbin, Kinsley Corbin and Emaline Drummond; and special care giver, Michael Bradley.
Pallbearers will include David Hinds, Hanson Hinds, Jason Drummond, Jake Corbin and X-Avier Corbin.
