James Travis Robbins, age 38 of Madison, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama. Travis was born on March 2, 1986, in Winchester, Tennessee to Steaven and Minnie (Clardy) Robbins. He was a Valedictorian in the class of 2004 at Franklin County High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Tech. He played Tuba during high school and college. Travis played guitar for fun and loved Classic Rock music. He worked for the U.S. Department of Defense at Redstone Arsenal as a Mechanical Engineer. Travis enjoyed taking his family to Trash Panda Games and Huntsville Havoc hockey games. In his spare time, he enjoyed wood working, cooking, and watching sports, especially University of Tennessee Vols and Tennessee Tech University Golden Eagles. Travis attended the Methodist Church with his family when he could. He will be remembered by his family as patient, kind, fun- loving, and intelligent. But most of all, he will be remembered as an unforgettable husband and father to his boys, as he always made sure he was there for them. Travis is preceded in death by his grandparents, Travis and Wanda Robbins and James and Irene Clardy Sr. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Robbins; sons, Ryan and Luke Robbins; parents, Steaven and Minnie Robbins; brother, Chris (LeAnne) Robbins; mother and father – in – law, Timothy and Jane Mulcahy; sisters and brothers – in – law, Erin (Fred) Harris and Shannon (Marshall) Stephens; nieces and nephew, Reagan and Riley Harris and Eleanor and Henry Stephens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with funeral service following at 1:00pm from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mt. Garner Cemetery with Christian Crouch, Marshall Stephens, Sterling Hubbard, Heath Rogers, Jake Costenero, John Mark Swafford and Jared Bradley all serving as pallbearers.
