James “Tony” Anthony Goodin, 69, of Athens, passed away on Thursday, November 10th, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Goodin was born March 2nd, 1953, to James and Athaleen Goodin.
Mr. Goodin is survived by his wife Marilyn Goodin; daughter Priscilla Blenkinsopp (John); bonus children Kenny Campbell (Crystal), Kim Brandon (Scott), and Krystal Hicks; grandchildren Jacob Blenkinsopp, Brittany Bacon, Zack Blenkinsopp, Jon McCallister, Alex Campbell, Ava Campbell, Marissa Brandon, Aubree Hobbs, Aaron Lovell, and Alexis Lovell; great-grandchildren Beck, Hayes, and Kennedy Bacon, and Asher Lovell; brother Wayne Goodin; and sisters Margaret Barnett and Irene Tarpley.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters Peggy Favors and Sandra Pullum.
The funeral service for Mr. Goodin will be Monday, November 14th, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Donald Terry officiating. Visitation will be Monday, November 14th, from 12:00-1:45 p.m. at Limestone Chapel. Pallbearers will be Jacob Blenkinsopp, Kenny Campbell, Scott Brandon, Aaron Lovell, Connor Smith, and Chris Smith. Honorary Pallbearer will be Brett McKellar. Burial will be at Athens Memory Gardens.
Mr. Goodin loved the farm life.
