Mr. James Talkington, age 69, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
He is survived by his special fur baby, Rebecca. Sister, Christine Dulaney (Von); Mary Ruth Yon; brother, Charles Talkington; nephews, Ricky Talkington (Jessica), Derrick Yon (Amanda); and his great nephews and nieces.
Mr. Talkington was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruthie Talkington; brother, Billy Ray Talkington, William Talkington; niece, Angel Talkington.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025 at the Scottsboro Funeral Home with Bro. Grady Cornelison, and Bro. Darrin McCloud officiating. Burial will follow in Boxes Cove Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at funeral home.
