James Steven Dawson, age 53, of Central Heights, Alabama, died Thursday, May 14, 2015. The visitation will be Saturday, May 16th from 6-8:00p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will be Sunday, May 17th at 2:00p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Gary Lovett officiating. Interment will be at Central Heights Community Cemetery.
He was a native of Lauderdale County.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Sue Dawson and brother Jerry Dawson.
Survivors include his wife Deborah Fulmer Dawson; father, Willard Dawson; sons, Jamie Dawson, Johnboy Dawson and Will Dawson; daughters, Christie Dawson and Katie Dawson, 6 sisters, grand kids Trey Rodgers, Mandy Dawson, Georgia Dawson, Angel Moore, Logan Moore, Ely Dawson, Destiny Dawson, and Jayden Moore.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Dawson, Johnboy Dawson, Will Dawson, Jeremy Bates, David McKelvy, Trey Rodgers, Rocky Fulmer, and Eugene Hale.
