James S. Champion, age 88, passed away September 1, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Frazier Champion; sons Louis Champion, Eric Champion (Iveta), and Brett Champion (Justyna); daughter, Kay Cronk and grandchildren, Chloe, Phoebe, Skylar, Lidija and Rudy. Jim worked for the United States Postal Service for 36 years. He served our Country in the United States Air Force and the Army National Guard. Jim was a deacon at Quinton Baptist Church. Services will be held, September 4, 2020 at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service at 2:00pm with burial following in West Jefferson Freewill Cemetery.
