James Russell Greer, age 78, of Muscle Shoals, AL, passed away May 25, 2019. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28, 2019, from 10 -11 a.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Charlie James officiating. Burial will be at Florence City Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Pauline Greer; and brother, Lester Greer.
Survivors include wife, Jane Greer; daughters, Jayna Greer and Shannan Butler; sisters, Nona Young, Edith Russell, Cheryl Goins and Vonda Stutts; and grandchildren, Jordan Butler, Chase Butler and Sophie Butler.
