James Roy Graben,77, passed peacefully at home on April 19th, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
James Roy, our Poppy, Pop, father, husband, and friend, loved his family fiercely. He raised his babies, all of them, to work hard and do the right thing. No matter how hard that can be.
James Roy was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lorene and Roy Graben; brother, Phillip Graben; mother- in-law and father -in-law, Laura and Jim Oliver.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy, his girls Krysta (Jonathan) and Jayne Kathryn (Matt), and grandchildren, Jamesdon, Kathryn, and Eric Turner. He is also survived by his brother, Rick (Karen) Graben; sister-in-law, Deborah (Joe) Dyar; nieces and nephews Justin, Jenna, Elishaba, Alex, and Jordan.
Poppy wanted his ashes spread in his happy place. His family will have a small gathering at their family lake home on Smith Lake.
