James Ronnie Taylor At 6:12 am on March 19th, 2025, James Ronnie “Bear” Taylor, 72, did things his way while he fought a short aggressive battle with cancer. He passed away with minimal suffering, great comfort, and peace to be with his momma in heaven, if they allow rowdy bikers there.

Preceded in death by: father, William Wallace Sr, mother, Ruby Lucios Mathias, brother, William “Tooter” Wallace II

Survived by: Lifelong Partner, Pat Rodgers of Huntsville, AL, Sister, Barbara & Eddie Symens of Davis, CA, Sister, Nancy & Joe Lyles of Baileyton, AL, Bonus Son & Daughter, Jimmy & Debi Barnes of Joppa, AL; Biological Daughter, Roxanne Griffin of Pulaski, TN; Step daughters, Stephanie & Taz Ludovici of Fredericksburg, VA,  Julie Rosenburg of Fredericksburg, VA ; Siobhan Robinson of England; Tina Johns of Fraser, MI; Lorelei & Todd McMahon of Dewitt, IA; Step Son, William & Shelly Johns; 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, neighbors, and friends

He was a great son, brother, husband, father, uncle, unk daddy and most of all a great man overall to all that knew and loved him. Bear never met a stranger and said his only “REGERT” was that he was the only rebel his momma ever raised, cuz he gave her hell.

“I’m checking out, whoop whoop-Love yawl!”
