James Rodney Jeffcoat passed away in Panama City, Florida, Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016 at the age of 73.
James is preceded in death by his wife of almost 50 years, Mattie Louise Jeffcoat; his parents, Buron Dewell and Lois Gray Jeffcoat and sister, Delois Ann Jeffcoat Barnett.
He is survived by his brother, John Kervin Jeffcoat of Dubach, Louisiana and sister, Sharon Jeffcoat Bartley of Las Cruces, New Mexico.
James is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Connie Dee Jeffcoat of Killen, Lisa Jeffcoat Burns and her husband, Daniel of Panama City, Florida, Jamie Jeffcoat Garrett and her husband, Randy of New Hope, Annie Jeffcoat Turner and her husband, Matthew of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Jennifer Dawn Jeffcoat of Killen.
James is affectionately remembered by his grandchildren, Christopher Jeffcoat and wife Angie, Taylor Connelly, Nathan Connelly, Jessica Garrett Killingsworth and husband Heath, Jill Connelly, Brett Garrett, Sky Matusek, Katelyn Matusek, Ryan Garrett, Gray Turner, Jake Garrett, Tristan Turner and great-granddaughters, Alyssa Jeffcoat and Reese Killingsworth
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to American Heart Association or in loving memory of his wife Louise Jeffcoat to the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance.
