James Robert Peck, 63, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, in Nashville, Tenn. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Peck; daughters, Leslie Key (Logan) and Carrie Peck (Dewey Brannon); and grandson, Daegan Brannon. He was preceded in death by his father, Powell William Peck; mother, Annie Moore Peck; and brother, Powell William Peck Jr. Born June 7, 1949, in Florence, Peck was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a graduate of Coffee High School and UNA. He was retired from U.S. Army Audit Agency Redstone Arsenal. Visitation will be 6-8:30 p.m. Saturday, and the funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday with Frank Mills officiating. Both at Elkins Funeral Home in Florence. Pallbearers will be Jordan West, Rusty Richardson, Ty West, Dean Tays, Jess Eastep, Hugh McNeil and Joe Beard. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Allen, Ted Vafeas, Bob Whitten, Tip Staggs, Tommy Johnston, Dan Viglianco, Hershel Rodgers, Cliff Jones and Richard Bilstein.
