James Robert Lyons, age 77, of Sulligent, AL passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2021 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with private family graveside services and burial to follow in Wofford Cemetery. Bro. Garrett Bozeman and Bro. Russ McDonald to officiate. Visitation will be held at Otts Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

James was born on February 10, 1944 in Fayette County, AL to the late Washington “Washie” Robert Lyons and the late Myrtle Ann Owens. He attended Fayette County High School. James was a self-employed brick mason. He enjoyed fishing.
