James Robert KingJames Robert King of Pulaski passed away Thursday evening, August 15th, 2019, at NHC of Pulaski. He was born in Giles County on November 12th, 1924 and was 94 years old.
He was a devoted husband of 72 years and a wonderful father and grandfather to all his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was a Christian man and a lifetime member of Fairview Church of Christ. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army where he served in the infantry. He was retired from Maremont Gabriel.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 17th, 2019 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
Funeral service will take place on Sunday, August 18th, 2019, at 2:00pm in the chapel of at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow with full military honors in Giles Memory Gardens
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Fairview Church of Christ Preaching Fund c/o 1765 Industrial Loop Rd, Pulaski, TN 38478.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Hedgcoth King. His parents, William Francis and Alta Jane Angus King along with his son, Robert Wayne King. His brother Tommy King and sister, Mattie Mae Dunnavant
He is survived by his,
Son, Michael (Garnet) King of Pulaski
Son, David Ray King of Pulaski
Daughter, Judy (Steve) Sanders of Prospect
Brother, Billy (Pam) King of Pulaski
Grandchildren, Gregg, Mark, Tammy, Adam, Philip, Jeff, Matt, Paige, Corbin, and Heather
Great grandchildren, Tyler, Seth, Katie, Kacie, Austin, Abby, Matthew, Maddie, Sawyer, Garet, Ashley, Charlie Mae, Jayson, P.J., Finlee, and Josie Kate.
Great -great grandson, Wyatt Glenn.
