Funeral services for Mr. James Robert Armes, age 80, are scheduled for 2 PM on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Denny Broadway officiating. Burial will follow in Old Jacks Creek Cemetery. Mr. Armes passed away in his daughter’s home in Reagan on Monday, June 10th. Born September 11, 1932 in Grayson County, Kentucky to the late Turner A. Armes and Nettie Fraze Armes. Mr. Armes was a farmer and janitor. Mr. James enjoyed farming and was a member of United Methodist Church of Lebanon, Kentucy. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marilyn Armes, two daughters, Debra Prescott of Lexington and Donna (James) Garner of Reagan. Survivors also include 8 grandchildren, Bryle Holbert, Nikki Hansel, Christina Fesmire, Jamie, Lukas, Haylee, Eli, and Christian Garner, and 10 great grandchildren, Cody, Sabrina, Hailey and Tristan Holbert, Emma, Melanie and Isabella Hansel, Matthew and Alex Fesmire, and Bailey Garner.
