Mr. James Richard King, age 97, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Thursday morning, August 7th, 2014, at his residence.
Visitation, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 8th, 2014, at the Landmark Freewill Baptist Church, Hamilton, Alabama. Funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 8th, 2014, at the church. Burial in Hamilton Memory Gardens, Hamilton/Weston, Marion County, Alabama.
Mr. King is survived by his wife, Olene Burks King; 2 daughters, Peggy (John) Berryhill, and Anita (Roger) Hall; 1 daughter-in-law, Peggy Webb King; 2 brothers; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by 1 son, J.C. King; his parents; and several siblings.
